Alessandro Runco is Chief Operating Officer of the Falzon Group, Malta’s longest established bunker supplier. Alessandro graduated Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Malta in mainstream metallurgy and materials and was subsequently awarded an MBA with distinction from Warwick Business School, specialising in Strategic Adaptation. Following a number of years in top management roles in international tech manufacturing firms, Alessandro moved into the petroleum sector where he has been actively involved for the past 16 years.  Alessandro’s main responsibilities today include the international fuel energy transition market in the bunkering and marine sectors.
