Mark Smith worked as Marine Engineer with P&O Nedlloyd, then as a Technical Superintendent with PCL and a Fleet Superintendent with Maersk Line. Mark presently works in the Loss Prevention Department at North of England P&I and involved in all aspects of loss prevention including North’s decarbonisation working group and various work streams involved with fuel. Mark is presently a Member of Ibia and actively involved in bunker licensing and mass flow meter working groups as well as methanol and hydrogen working groups.
